RETA Boychuk is a trailblazer in River Stand-Up Paddling, a decorated athlete, instructor trainer, and all-around river junkie based in Western Canada. Canada's first female Paddle Canada River Instructor Trainer, Reta has spent years competing, teaching, guiding, and chasing whitewater across the Americas.
A 3x GoPro Mountain Games SUP Cross Champion and 3x Canadian National Whitewater SUP Slalom Champion, Reta is equally passionate about developing the next generation of river paddlers and instructors. She is the creator of Flat to Flow™, her signature methodology for progressing paddlers from calm flatwater to technical moving water.
When she's not competing or teaching, you'll find Reta somewhere on the river—paddling, rescuing, exploring, and, inevitably, getting a little too stoked.
